Kowala Lapboard for Apple Ipad

The company: www.documont.com Was kind enough to send me a prototype of their Kowala lapboard. A great little device where you lift the top part up and put your ipad inside then add the top back on as it attaches via magnets. It creates a lapboard out of your ipad which makes it much easier to draw on without the use of a glove. The way it works is simple.With all the extra surface area that is pretty much flush with your ipad you can rest your palm and arm away from the screen so you can easily draw with the screen tilted upwards like I had or completed flat. It adds a whole other level of drawing on the ipad. Pen used is the wacom stylus for Ipad. The handmade KOWALA is the first ergonomic work surface for the iPad which improves the sketching, writing, viewing and typing capabilities of your iPad. First thought of as a drawing surface, the KOWALA was inspired by the traditional wooden drafting table.
